Chairwoman Transportation Committee @ EU Parliament
Karima Delli is a member of European Parliament, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Transport and Tourism Committee. Responsible for a report on sustainable urban mobility when the Volkswagen scandal broke out, she gradually specialized on the issue of air pollution and the future of mobility.
In February 2016, after having worked to set up a European Parliament inquiry committee on the “dieselgate”, she became vice-president of the Commission of Inquiry into the measurement of emissions in the automotive sector. At the same time, she is also on the Employment and Social Affairs Committee where she continues her work on health and safety workers and the social dumping, particularly in the transport sector.
She is also the Chairwoman and founding member of the European Startups Prize for mobility
